Waterfalls, Lavabombs, glacier tongues, icelandic horses and a truck!

Góðan daginn,

yesterday we had quiet a long tour planned. We travelled through the south of iceland. On our way we had a lot of huge events. THe first two were waterfalls (even the third, but the third was so super amazing, I have to separate this one).
The first stop was Urridafoss, a very nice waterfall, but after seeing Gullfoss the day before it was just quiet okay.

On our tour eastwards we saw from far far away the next gigantic scenery. Seljalandsfoss was an outstanding place.
We came there and saw, that we were able to walk behind the waterfall. Of course it was a very "rainy" action, but it was worth it.

The place behind the waterfall was kinda charming.
As much moose as there is just on the lava fields of island, but this one is much more juicier??
I did not expect this green oasis when I saw the scenery from the first picture from far far away.

After seeing this nice waterfall we started again on our route.

When we wanted to get some pictures from the Eyjafjallajökull which exploded in 2010 the little dog came around and protected his territory...
But we entered and found this amazingly old truck kkk
On our further route we saw of course a lot of icelandic horses...
....a glacier tongue hidden in the rain....
... and a lot of stone bombs which came down after the explosion....
