after Gulfoss spectacle we drove about 7 km westwards to see the most famous of it's kind: Geysir! The one and only water firing spring from deep below. Because of the Big Geysir all the other water spying holes in the world got their name!
We arrived and saw the huge fountain and many steaming hot tubs!
So we were very curious which one is the water explosion fun tub!
This baby geysir was unfortunately not our lucky shot :-)
At this big one we waited for around 10 min, because the Geysir is known to explode every 7 min, more or less. Of course we were waiting with our camera in our hand....
But after checking some of the super hot (80-100°C) like above we found the right one! And now just enjoy the explosion:
Unbelievable! I was super impressed and Christoph too! We stayed there for about an hour to get satisfied, but I guess it takes a lot longer!
BOOOOM!
