Sulfur Spring - You take my breath away!

Góðan daginn!

After checking the snow covered mountains and the two waterfalls we wanted to go to the third waterfall of the day and finally to the city we wanted to spent the night. But on our way we smelled something really special! Something sulfuric... it's name was Nàmaskard!

It didn't take a long time until we found the reason for the baddest smell in iceland!

It was a sulfur spring in the middle of a desert like landscape!

There were pools filled with boiling mudd!
Yes, they were really smelly, because of all the sulfur!

Haha, the big heater was the worst... the second the wind turned the smell turned with it, but in the end we were able to detect the way the smell was going to kill it's enemies hehe
That's why Christoph suddenly began to run... I just had to laugh and was a little slower... but in the end I paid the price for taking the picture...

Actually after running next to the big stinker we felt that there was a lot of hollow space under us.. the floor was vibrating!
Desert Ranger!

This mud we liked the most! The bubbles were really noise while bursting!

That was a real surprising stop on our route! But a very interesting one.
