Iceland - Reykjavik - Whale Watching

Góðan daginn,

this morning me and Christoph had to get up super early to go to the old harbor to take part of a whale watching tour.

We were pretty excited!
The way to our boat took us into the whale watching station. It was another boat with a whale skeleton. Hehe...

From the boat we had a wonderful view on the harbor. The "old harbor", cooled kinda new to me :-)

On the boat we had to get our warm suits. It was super warm, even because we borrowed some extra pants and shirts from our B&B guy (our luggage was delayed).
And then the main attraction... we saw around 5 Mink-Whales. They are around 10 meters long...
But for 3.5 h just 5 whales fopr around 20 seconds top.... you can imagine, that I expected a little bit more...
My hands were a little stiff at the end of the ride, so cold! Too many pictures were taken on the boat ride!
Maybe the best was the cake and the coffee later in Cafe Haiti (It was really good!) and the amazing view!
