Lotus Lake - Enter the Dragon and exit the Tiger!

Ni hao!

after leaving Taichung we arrived in Kaohsiung.  I liked this city much more than our second stop! It was more relaxing and more quiet down there... even if it is the second biggest city of Taiwan. After arriving in our very, seriously very nice hostel we took the subway to the Lotus lake. The walk from the station to the lake was quiet confusing, but after arriving there we were kind of rushed.

There were temples and pagodas and statues everywhere, even a shrine is located at the lake. 

The bad statue in the background is the Emperor of the Dark Heaven! A shrine is dedicated to the god who defeated a snake and a turtle. These two animals symbolizes good and evil, so He is able to control everything!! Haha!!

After this VIP we entered a dragon mouth with lots of paintings inside. One of the most hilarious is the one guy with the enormous eyebrows....

And of course at the back... Yes, we had to exit the dragon at its back.

The dragon above was a single dragon who led us to a very long way to a pagoda.... 

After this one we went to the next two pagodas. The Tiger and Dragon Pagoda! While walking into the dragon all your bad intuitions and memories will be cleared from you and your brain and you get cleaned while walking afterwards through the tiger pagoda! So you are supposed to be a good person afterwards!

You see, Elisa is so super kind afterwards!

And we ate a dragon cookie!

As you can see in the pictures the sky is aways dusty and cloudy! :-((( But it is still very warm over here!
