Poutine - Quebec Cuisine

Bonjour,

on the last day of their visit we wanted to celebrate Montréal appropriately. La Banquise is offering the most famous poutine of Montreal. That is why we went there to feed our apatite for sauce dripping french fries, topped with cheese, or lets call it "cheese". As disgusting as it may sound as delicious it was!

The restaurant itself is kind of a fast food style restaurant, serving mostly poutine in all different kinds. They are open 24/7 and actually we tried saturday evening, but the line was Berghain-style, 10 m in front of the door (at -18°C). That is why we decided to go on sunday afternoon. I guess that they are mentioned in every tourist guide for Montréal. But a friend from the gym told me, that there is a better place, where you can set up the poutine all by yourself, a personal remix so to say. I will check that one later.
But back to business....
We had three different kind of poutine. The classic, a mexican style and one with pulled pork, coleslaw and sour creme. The last one was our favorite.

We did finish all three and were full until the next day haha.

Bye Bye you two, and bye La Banquise.
