This "summer" I am o the road with Claudio! We took a short stop-over in Paris and then directly took the Air Austral Boeing to La Reunion. The 15 h travel felt like just a ride to Charlottenburg, like a blink of an eye. I slept the most part of the flight and felt actually very awake and excited when we arrived.
We just grabbed our Citroen (yeah, very french) and teamed up with Claudios sister Laura, who is doing her Erasmus over here.
This is the dormitory where she is staying, more nice than the korean one I stayed in, she has a single room!!!
First street art pic of the trip. But then we really went for our Hotel in St. Gilles les Bains and the beach of course!

The beach was different from the others I had visited in Asia or all around the world. The water is super warm, around 29°C, the streaming and the waves therefore are pretty rough.
In the afternoon we already adopted the local behavior perfectly. Picknick at the beach with creole food!
We then just drove to the lagoon in L'Hermitage, just a 10 min ride south from our Hotel. After jumping into the water we were surrounded by fishes. Super cute!
For our first sundown here in the south we took a walk at the beach and found a lot of trees, which got half exposed roots. I guess a little creepy at night.
Even with all the coral cadavers all around.
Now we will have dinner and I am excited about tomorrow!
