Anyong,
after spending a few days in SouthKoreas capital - Seoul - there is material for 5 independent blog entries.
The fact, that I am again back to Berlin makes it a little difficult to keep up in the time line. I decided to put all the city impressions we got in one post. Mostly there are no words to describe, because it has been such an adventure!

We lived directly in Myeong-dong, which is located in the heart of Seoul.
Cheonggyecheon River was flowing on our doorstep. It has been amazing for jogging and of course for enjoying the late evenings.
At the river we found a many art installations. One was showing the Korean war and the time of the rebuilding process. One picture showed Korean nurses in our hometown Essen, earning money to send back to Korea. It made me feel really bonded to the Korean population.

Admiral Yi Sun-Sin, who invented the Turtle Flagship, destroying the Japanese armada has to be checked out as well as King Sejong, who invented the korean writing symbols are a must see.
The mixture of the different time lines are always a contrast we love!
One day we just walked by the Bonsingak Bell. A tourist information man came out of the building, where the bell is hanging and asked us, if we would like to join the ringing ceremony. Sure, but first... let me take a selfie.
About 30 cm thick, did not expect that.
After ringing the bell 12 times (12 am) we had to hold the vibrating bell and make a wish.
At some time we had to visit the N Seoul Tower. Sundown!
Racing to the next highlight!
FOOOOOOOOOD
She accepted my rose! Thank god.
You decide.
Another special for me was the in-house farm. Especially the baby rice field.
Next stop was the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park. Futuristic architecture met history.
What a shot.
In the design plaza we found my personal highlight of the day... I guess that trumps even the turtle sex. The Kakao-Friends Design Shop.

Last but not least we ate our way through the street food stands of Myeongdong to our Airbnb.
It has been an amazing holiday. I wanna thank my three travel mates John, Elisa and Natalia for outstanding 3.5 weeks of adventures!
