Anyong,
today was horror trip day haha
We went to Gyongju, where I have been with ICEA, Julia and my family before. But this time it was the first time during summer time.
It was just amazing. The only problem was, Natalia's suggestion to rent some bikes to go around the city. Sure, why not. We are young, healthy and of course we have about 6 hours time. Let's do it!

Next to the tourist information, where I have made myself a joke, while asking for some bus tours... oh, sir, you have to book the tours in advance... And by the way, now all the busses already left (12 pm)
Next victim of the informationistas was John. He was the chosen one to ask for the bike rental station... it was literally in front of us. Anyway, for 7000 Won the bikes were ours until 6 pm.

Here we go.
On the way to the first tourist attraction (Wolji, 2000 Won entrance). A former palace, where just three parts and the artificial lake are still working.
We found a wonderful, best ever, photo spot. Spreading love to the world...
It was actually located next to a Lotus field, which was more interesting to us.
The Wolji, which I have been visiting now for the third time showed his true beauty!
After spending an hour in there we started our horror tour to Bulguksa temple. The temple was actually 13 km from Wolji. On our way to the temple we had an constant increase inclination. We were really , really exhausted when we arrived. And yes, I have been sweaty. It took us about 2 h for this. By the way the bycicle lane is constantly present, but there are trees growing on the lane, so we had to be very careful, even because we have been riding our bikes next to an highway for a long part of the trip.
But we were rewarded with an amazing view on the rice fields of Gyeongju along the way. We were even able to see how the rice has been planted.
At 3:30 pm we finally arrived at Bulguksa. We had to rush through the temple, because we calculated 1.5 h for our way back home. Even sweaty, exhausted and in a hurry, we managed to take a couple of pictures.
Golden pig, so much luck for Johnny!
Fighting ...
We tried to use the alien-port.... didn't work.
Then on the way back, which took as calculated 1.5 h, we had again the fantastic view on the rice fields.
Thank you Natalia for the bike idea!
