Mabuhay,
during our tour on Camiguin Island we stopped at some natural springs to get a swim in fresh water...after all the salt water at the beaches. There were three possibilities on Camiguin Island, a soda spring, a cold spring and a hot spring.
Actually the cold spring was the most impressive. The other two were just so so.
Here we are at the soda spring.
I guess the view was the only nice thing about this one. When I saw some street dogs drinking my wish to go on swimming just fade away kkk
The second was the cold spring. Maybe the most impressive thing on this volcano island. The place was seriously wonderful. Surrounded by palms and jungle. Water was drinkable and crystal clear.
A fish spa was also inclusive, because of the little starving fishes inside the spring.
I was even able to do some swimming, because the pool was really large!
At some point we got some philippino style foo which was a real reward after all the swimming. Hot soup at 30°C after swimming in the cold spring. I felt so prefect eating that!
And of course some coconuts (bukos)!
Afterwards some grilled banana and then we drove to the last of the springs on our tour. The hot spring.
The only hot about this spring was actually it's location. Deep in the jungle the was a lukewarm spring.
The place has been modified to a stair like pool facility. So, to sum up, if u have less time at Camiguin island, just visit the cold spring!
