Stairway to heaven... or a volcano crater

Mabuhay,
the first thing we did on Camiguin Island was the "Walkway to the old volcano and the 14 stations of the cross".
Actually we walked just on a mountain (because the volcano crater was not active anymore and the 14 stations looked mostly the same. BUT the view from the top of the volcano was really nice! We had to walk 1.5 km upwards and during that walk we sweated the hell out of our bodies.

Beside the humidity the insolation was so super intense, that all photos seem a little smokey I guess. Even our faces reflect the solar power, which was heating us up all the time during the walk.

Actually it seems like Jesus just wants to say: No Photos please!
The walk was nice and actually very different to the other activities we are doing here in the philippines, I guess hiking is not one of the national activities.

Here we are on our way back down, still a little sweaty. But in the end Jesus had his resurrection. But there were too many pilgrims to take a nice picture. :-(
It was very nice, and from up here we were able to se our second destination of the day... the sunken cemetery....
