Königstein - Feel like little kings!

Schönen guten Tag!

It has been already too long for me to stay home (6weeks). So I asked John to plan a little trip for me and so he did.

We have been visiting the Sächsische Schweiz! It was about 3h by train and we stopped in Königstein.

After arrival we had a wonderful view on the Elbe and of course the first thing we did was exploring the "city". Maybe it was jsut a village. The flood a few years ago damaged the village really bad and you still see which houses have been restored and which houses havnt.

Anyway, a few graffiti were on the way from our hotel to the center of the village. Super urban haha
From the center we saw the stronghold Königstein, which we explored after some coffee and cake.

At the coffee house Zimmermann we  had "Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte" and "Tüpflekuchen" (it was supposed to be a saxonian style cake).
This coffee shop has been cleaned and build up from the bottom, the owner told us. They have still to fight with the wetness for a few years.

And of course we had saxonian coffe, with a shot of egg liqueur.

After the really good cake we started our way up to the fort.
