NYC Day 2.1 - Brooklyn Bridge - Ground Zero - Staten Island Ferry - Grand Central Station

Good Morning NY!

It is our second day in the city and I am already late with the pictures... there is just so much to see!

The first morning we started with a grumpy coffee in the grumpy café!

Actually it was really grumpy in there. No touch of decoration or any love. The guy behind the desk didn't smile at all and was a little grumpy with me and my family, because we had to order for 4 people at once.

So, the cafe really lives their name!

I followed their rules and drank my coffee as a protest in front of their cafe, very grumpy!

After getting ready and grumpy for the day we took off to take the staten island ferry to get a glimpse at the statue of liberty. The ride was 20 min one way, for free and pretty relaxed.

After getting back to Manhattan we walked from the ferry station to the Brooklyn Bridge, to take a walk on top of it.

I guess the Brooklyn Bridge was the most impressive monument we saw in the morning ours. But I guess the good weather played a big role, making this walk unforgettable.

Directly after walking the way to Brooklyn and back we took the subway to Ground Zero, where we found the foot prints of the twin towers next to the One World Center.

Then we took the subway to the Empire State Building, we exit at the grand central station, just to see it once.
